Granting Extensions: Admin/Advisors

Granting Extension Steps (Before End Date)

1. Locate the student in Genius
2. Click "Current Enrollments"
3. Select the course(s) you need to extend
4. Click "Change Dates"
5. Enter new end date
6. Save
7. Email Student to notify
8. Email Teacher to notify

Granting Extensions In Bulk

1. Click Affiliations Tab
2. Click your affiliation
3. Follow steps 2-8 above

Granting Extensions Steps (After End Date)

1. Locate the student in Genius
2. If course has closed - click "Reinstate" 
3. Follow steps 2-8 above
4. Email your CAOLA Support Team and provide the student first and last name, district, course title and new end date. They will make sure the course does not continue to close out for the student
