Overview
This resource provides step-by-step instructions for creating individual student accounts in Genius. To ensure accurate student records, carefully enter the student’s PPID and contact information during account creation.
Administrators may set the student’s username; however, students will be prompted to create a new password at their first login in accordance with student data privacy requirements.
Creating a Student in Genius
- Click Students Tab
- Select Add Student
- Fill out form- yellow fields are required
- Click Save
- You can then see the student profile by selecting “Click Here”
NOTE: Be sure to indicate YES in the SPED drop-down if they are a special education student.
